Interesting response that she “can’t win” no matter what she does when she could just dissociate with a brand that promotes child bondage of any kind. Who would say, “I will no longer support Kim because she quit on a brand that made a mistake”? Normally this would be laughable, but I’m today’s culture, people will rally to her side because it’s a sign of the times.
They can’t win simply because they set their own traps up. Like the time they complained about being photoshopped and people made fun of them and called them out for setting plastic surgery beauty standards.
This is an example of how they move the goalposts on society: “Oh, you object to ‘cancel culture’ there, but now you want it here? How can you hold such double standards?” It’s another manifestation of the squeeze/stranglehold they exert over the culture. They unfairly attack the livelihoods of the innocent to gain massive cultural pushback in order to establish the groundwork for acceptance of evil beneath the same umbrella, all in the name of equality, equity, fairness, etc.
The threat has also already been established, “Either accept this, too, or we can go back to everyone being a target” (even though everyone remains so, regardless).
