He’d wish! Robert Pattison also says that! Since there is absolutely nothing memorable and honorable about him he needs to asociate his figure to that of a national hero, a patriot and great resistence force against the danger of Otoman Empire in Europe -Vlad Tepes. The only thing they have in common is that they’re both male. I’m sick and tired of this grotesque manipulative recent “history” that seeks to spread its tentacles over the genuine extraordinary life of the outstandingly brave men of the history.
The only link he has with Romania has to do with some pedophilia activity in the area.

Thanks! Unfortunately there are still many who are very much in love with the Hollyweird factory of tales. They would rather mesure the length of the nose based on a not such an acurate portrait than check what real history has to say about Vlad. While royal heads like good old Charles like to do some human hunting and abuse children on a regular basis, those who eradicated criminality and put traitors and the infamous Otoman Empire to respect are to be denigrated. In cruel times when treason could have done such a great harm to a nation, there was no other way than setting an example in order to discourage the enemies. Let us not forget that the impalement thing is something Vlad has witnessed a lot when he was kept hostage for the sultanat. Also, let us not forget what treason looked like when while kept hostage, his father was beheaded and another brother left without eyes and buried alive. As I’ve said, these were cruel times and sometimes a cruel measure was “a must.”
