They want to poison us
There’s nothing new about this. Beauty products contained such stuff since middle ages. Now they’re even listed on the packages. If you drink from a bottle labeled with skull and crossbones, it’s not the product’s fault.
Are you under the impression that toxic compounds are only harmful if you eat or drink them?

I can vouch for this. I used to use ordinary shampoos containing several of these agents and I was suffering hair loss. Upon learning about the clear link between Sodium Laureate Sulfate and hairloss I sought out alternative shampoos without that. I found exactly one option without this chemical at my local super market so I bought that. Following that I noticed a marked decrease in hair loss though it continued on. I searched for better alternatives and found a well reviewed 99% natural shampoo at an online natural health store. Picked that up and after using it for just a few days I noticed that my hair felt healthier than it had for years and that the hair loss had stopped near completely and since then it has been getting more dense.
The “normal” options for basically everything we consume are toxic, look for natural options to stay healthy. Chances are also that the more heavily marketed a product, the worse it is.
