I am frightened by the impact on society and politics if Elon Musk acquires Twitter. He seems to believe that on social media anything goes. For democracy to survive, we need more content moderation, not less.

Get the people to beg for their slavery, deceive them, and you can get away with anything.
The word “democracy” has become THE symbol of doublespeak.
Note that ADL has pressured Facebook advertisers for more censorship before. If Twitter will take a big hit from advertisers, everything will go back to beginning. A billionaire wouldn’t lose his fortune for free speech. (and we assume he wants free speech)
They only want free speech when it benefits them and their agendas.
This is just classic!! Right from his mouth. I just can’t grip that authoritarian mind set. The indoctrination these people must have gone is either really really strong or these people are just not that smart. I think it’s the combination of the both.
Also, who in hell would want a democracy when you could have a republic where your individualism is protected by law. Democracy is nothing more than collectivism and mob rule.
