Some symbols inside Princess Peach’s castle could be interpreted as Masonic. In addition to the designs on the floor of the castle, there are a set of twin pillars in the basement of the castle that Mario is instructed, “one shall pound”. Game released in 1996.

The whole game revolves around collecting stars. Seems the masons are obsessed with stars of various kinds. Their focus on astrological events and the movements of the stars and planets is no secret.
The rest of your article is missing
?
I assume the question mark was to my comment. You made a post with less than one paragraph and only analyzed the first room of the castle. Where’s the rest of the analysis and article?
Also, to Dan S., Nintendo is very derivative with their games, and they may have used the mythology without necessarily piecing together an Illuminati connection.
Doubtful. Nintendo captivated the imaginations of many young people during the 80s and 90s. You would wager that was a coincidence? Cultural change like this never come to fruition without the elites help.
There may be more to analyze, but the floor design and the task to stomp down two twin towers I find to be the most striking and worthy of sharing.
I have no obligation to do a full analysis.
The floor design parallel was intriguing, which is why the article quickly became a disappointment when no other evidence is presented or attempted. The twin tower thing is bogus as hell tbh.
I also didn’t claim the Masonic floor to be a coincidence, I was referring to Dan S talking about the mythology being used. First Zelda was based on Catholicism during development. Newest Zelda utilizes designs from ancient Japanese jomon pottery. My examples aren’t from Mario, unfortunately, but they’re both the leading Nintendo franchises which is why I am using as an example. I’m sure I won’t change your opinion though, you seem very set in your ways. Claiming that everything is about 9/11 really helps to discredit actual conspiratorial events.
I am interested in reading the article that Dan S posted also.
Apologies if I am being too strong in my verbiage btw. Not trying to offend, it’s just very half baked in my opinion. I’m all over the place trying to do this on my phone at work.
Read that article on the blog, pretty interesting. Some points seem like a they’re reaching but then so much similarity piles up that they can’t exactly be ignored. They also mention the pillars but in reference to mythology and not the WTC / 9/11. Interesting for sure.
@ripcurrent, I just got done reading this analysis of additional symbolism scattered throughout the game: https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/1075258475020779520.html
Highly recommended. One takeaway I got was that Mario is a possible representation of Mercury/Hermes moving between dimensions. Complete with the hat with wings that is needed to access various parts of the levels. So much that seemed so innocent when playing this as a kid now makes me wonder what other Masonic/occult allegories they were inserting into other Nintendo games. Very eye opening to say the least!!!
Interesting link. Thank you for sharing that, Dan.
Bit of a stretch for most of it, but there are definitely some good points in it. I’d never considered that the cards Nintendo used to create included divination. The “Mario mushroom” is amanita muscaria, a very psychedelic mushroom. SquareSoft has tons of occult stuff in their RPG’s. Probably why Disney agreed to let them handle their IPs in Kingdom Hearts. I’d love to see VigilantCitizen or someone delve more into Japanese occult culture.
Stretch….
Damn I played this game so many times throughout childhood and never noticed that connection in the main castle lobby! Well done!
How do you guys feel about mortal kombat?
Nintendo is both no stranger and not innocent to these kinds of things. There is many more occult symbolism across many of their other franchises, especially within the Legend of Zelda Franchise. I won’t go in depth on it here but, the people we dealing with here have their hands in everything so don’t doubt for a minute that they are pulling strings from the shadows in that company. In fact I’d really like to see more coverage from across all the gaming companies and their games/franchises because there is a lot there worth talking about. It has massive influence which sadly is very satanic. And this is coming from a Gamer who’s played video games all my life but I wouldn’t deny it and must admit its true.
Don’t forget, not all symbols are necessarily evil or bad. They’ve been hijacked by bad people.
