Here’s an explanation of the *Christian* origins of the tradition of Christmas trees (just search for the word “tree” on each page to jump to the relevant info):

1) Christmas customs (this page has interesting info on the Christian origins of many of our holiday traditions)
https://www.fisheaters.com/customschristmas1.html

2) Saint Boniface (AD 675-754), patron saint of Germany (and brewers & tailors), who chopped down a huge oak tree dedicated by pagans to the “god” (demon) Thor, to show the pagans that nothing bad would happen to them, and that the true and only God is greater than any of the fallen angels they worshipped.

He then pointed out an alternative — an evergreen fir tree growing at the base of the old, felled oak, telling the pagans, “This humble tree’s wood is used to build your homes: let Christ be at the centre of your households. Its leaves remain evergreen in the darkest days: let Christ be your constant light. Its boughs reach out to embrace and its top points to Heaven: let Christ be your comfort and your guide.” The pagans were converted to Christianity that day, and the Christmas tree came to the world through Germany.

Yeah, Stranger Things is not a family show at all. I remember watching the first season thinking wow there’s a lot of language in this for a show that is definitely going to appeal to young people. I swear the rule of thumb is if it’s heavily advertised, there’s probably a bad reason for it.

When I think that some of us lived in the countryside and so many children used to spend their holidays at their grandparents. between poultry and speep and cows, orchard trees… This is persecution, xyz, and a message for all of us who dare to do the normal.

I truly hope they.ll get their children back.

This “Stranger Things” tree is truly a violation of the spirit of Christmas. It’s beyond secularization and into the occult. It’s horrible to see this happening across many areas of culture, as we watch the countries of former Christendom re-paganize.

Christians need to fight back, retaining the distinct seasons of Thanksgiving and THEN Advent and THEN Christmas, listening to more true Christmas carols than the constant diet of modern secular Christmas songs, incorporating prayer and adoration in our holiday schedules, maintaining Christian decoration in our holiday displays, and passing down Christian traditions to our families & children.

Let’s fight back, evangelize, AND transform the culture! These links might help with that…

Seasonal customs (has even more info on Christmas, plus traditions of other Christian seasons):

May God bless and guide you & all your loved ones!

I was telling my children the other days just that – that Christmas is a lot more than just santa bringing presents to the children, At their level of comprehension, they are small, they already know about the Holy Birth of Jesus and that we celebrate exactly that.
You are right, again, it is up to us, the parents, to bring back in this paganised world the christian tradition and raise children for God.

I am glad your bringing your children up to be good christians. I would use the words Father Christmas instead of santa…santa being an anagram of satan makes me uncomfortable.

thanks, fairy!
I actually use in my language ,,Mos Craciun,, – meaning in english ,,Old Man /Grandpa Cristmas,,. I think Santa is used as an anagram for satan only by satan.s believers the same way they use the holly cross in satanic rituals (this doesn.t make the cross satanic and it does not remove its holiness; it is used for mockery only).

,,The name Santa Claus originates from the Dutch name for Saint Nicholas, Sinterklaas, which is a shortened form of Sint Nikolaas. This name was brought to America by Dutch settlers, who honored the tradition of the gift-giving saint. Over time, in America, Sinterklaas evolved into the Santa Claus we know today.

  • Dutch Tradition: Dutch settlers brought the tradition of Sinterklaas to America, especially to New York (formerly New Amsterdam).
  • Evolution of the name: The name Santa Claus is a direct Americanization of the Dutch Sinterklaas.,,

I made sure to go nowhere near this Netflix crap. They totally ruined movie making with their “convenience” centered thing.

I really hope you don’t mean that you think Christmas is Christian 😂
