The European Parliament wants to criminalize "hate speech"

The European Parliament once again stated that hate speech – we can understand this as freedom of speech in this case – is a serious threat to democracy. The real question is: who will decide what is “hate speech” and what will be the punishment for committing this “crime”? In the last sentence, they tell that the plan is to criminalize hate speech at EU level, so why are they talking about democracy and rule of law, when they want to force this on every EU country without caring about the opinion of european people and elected national governments?

What do you think?

Freedom of speech vs ‘hate speech’. Which is any speech they don’t like.

Lol is this about Emmanuel Macron’s wife’s penis again?

I’d heard that now defamation is out the window that we’re going to go with cyber harassment. Hmm.

Oh shit I’m in the UK – better watch myself. Because for some reason leaving the EU still means we choose to be governed by it’s laws despite no longer having any MEPs in the European parliament to contribute to the discussion about said laws. Riddle me that.

My prayers go out to my European brothers and sisters.
The noose tightens, but hold on to your boldness and your joy citizens of Heaven.

Always remember Democracy is disguised as “will of the majority” but in their eyes the majority is the amount of capital (ie power) you own, not a person
