Not quite sure about this one. Her second single absolutely bombed despite her doing lots of one eyed symbolism photos for Rolling Stones. Normally when they do that, they get lots of success. Not in her case.

Some interesting comments made by a seeming industry insider about him and Max Clifford and underaged girls and boys. Some kind of “preselection” and grooming going on before contestants were put on shows so they could be spotted and an origin story created for them.
I’m fascinated by all the connections in music in the US from way back. How they created “artists” and how many were related to each other. I mean really connected. There is also like a way the create the bands etc…and fave them under these ridiculous contracts where they make hardly anything. Then there’s the ” death clause” for the ownership of the music in the first place…which of course they don’t own. And if they try to own it? Well.
