Geez seriously I know ppl who hate Trump that are being skipped. It’s not because or politics at least not because of being a Trump supporter.

It might be for the FEMA worker’s own safety. People with Trump signs would be more likely to believe the conspiracy theories about FEMA, or simply not want hear about government assistance, and possibly threaten the workers.

I am not saying that that is what is happening, and I don’t think anyone should be skipped when offering assistance, it should be available to anyone in an emergency regardless of politics. But the way this is worded it makes me wonder if there have been some incidents. It’s on a list with items like “don’t go anywhere alone” and “practice de-escalation.”

Project much? Trump supporters are overwhelmingly peaceful. Just like the tens of millions of us who carry are overwhelmingly peaceful.

Actually, the Post article says what I did, that it is for safety reasons.

I disagree, it shouldn’t matter. If we pay for that service through our taxes we should get it. Next is we start picking certain groups and people out can be weaponized. We know Democrats are more violent

No, it’s not for safety. It’s for liberals who believe conspiracy theories about conservatives. Those people have lost their ever loving minds to hatred and violence and believe everything they see on TV. I live in the countryside where everyone is a trump supporter. There’s no safety issue, never has been.

These claims have to be investigated by some independent party. It’s obvious that she wants to take the fire off of herself, but that does not exclude the possibility that she’s telling the truth. Damn what a shitty situation to be in.

Also the wording in the article gives me pause. “Avoiding ‘white or conservative-dominated’ disaster zones altogether — is an open secret at the agency”.

Doesn’t it look like DEI practices turned into the exact beast they were supposed to destroy? Dividing people with bias and prejudice.

AA was supposed to bring equality and all it did was become legal racism. Almost like it was designed that way…
