john, I am not surprised to hear this. People just *do not want to know* that not only is eating animal flesh harmful to the human body, these days, the animals are fed the equivalent of GMO garbage; they live in confined areas wallowing in their own waste with no room to roam as the ruminants that they are, and they killed in the most horrific ways possible.
To be sure, eating vegan processed food at every meal is not necessarily health-promoting, because of the chemical additives in most of the products. Eating real, organic, non-GMO vegetables, fruits, mushrooms, nuts & seeds, and whole grains is the way to go.
In the end, our world is toxified. We have to choose very wisely what we put into our bodies, minds, and spirits!
