Promotional picture for album release “Around the Fur” in 1997.
Bonus: check out Abe Cunningham’s shirt. Submit or be subverted.
Chi Cheng (bassist), third from the left, is involved in a car accident in 2008 that leaves him in a coma and then in a vegetative state dies in 2013. No idea if there is a connection, but … things that make you go hmmm.

Damn, I like them, but nothing is surprising in the music and hollywood world.
I wonder if there are subliminals (backmasking) on that album? Hmmm.
Noooo 🙁
Can’t be surprised though. Dang.
Looks like they weren’t just involved in sacrificing their gentle & beloved bassist: https://www.billboard.com/music/music-news/deftones-exited-eagles-of-death-metal-paris-shootings-6762498/amp
Related to the above, check out the very disturbing music video by Kim Dracula called “Make Me Famous.” It ends with people being shot in a theater. This artist is named after a Deftones song.
And don’t forget Deftones’ singer’s occult-themed side project ††† (a.k.a. Crosses).
Something there …. possibly given a heads up. This band definitely has some die hard fans and I have come to realize a lot of people worship Chino Moreno a lot. There is definitely an air of demonic influence in their fame.
Their third album “White Pony” could be a reference to the “pale horse” of the apocalypse.
You just reminded me about Maynard James Keenan part in one of the songs….
His part sounds backwards but he seems to be singing it…
