As a Space Force spouse, I’m fully aware of the darker underbellies. I see the symbolism in this picture and understand the implications (or transmissions). However, I’d like to put out a call to nuance because there are truly some honorable people in the forces.
Having studied WW2 and listening to veterans stories on Jocko Willink’s podcast for years now, I can second this. There are truly many good men in all branches of the declassified U.S. armed forces that would be disgusted by what the government has done if they knew the extent of it.
