I took Mass Comm in college from 1987 – 1992. I learned about the AP Style book. And although I didn’t go into journalism, I had to write in that style for so many years that it changed how I write permanently.
It focused on making articles easier to read, concise and established rules for the profession.
This? This is just more control over the industry. I’m nauseated.
