Knowing that a president in France does not have the right to speak publicly about his religious beliefs while strangely all the presidents since Napoleon(1789) were surrounded or were themselves Freemasons.
But we are taught at school that the republic is secular so I must be too complotist.
What did he mean?
That if you want to be elected you must pass by the freemassonery, because the religion of the republic(mode of organization of politics in France) is freemassonery since french revolution

I think he meant that if you believe in the Republic, you must at least try Freemasonry. I don’t get his reasoning.
Every french president is or was linked to the freemassonery so he basically validated the theory of a conspiracy organized by secret groups.
