That song was about adultry and how it can be generational. Starting with p*********y then bar hopping then bam bye family. Can also mean drugs and sin in general. The creepy lizard demon and the little kid symbolize how easily evil can enter our life if we use the Bible’s description of us as new Christians as “babes” just born.. and we grow. In this case, the person is still a new believer. It’s showing how easy it is to fall into the trap of sin. The song talks about the consequences, and this is evident when you look at statistics of family dynamics, violence, corruption, and crime from the streets to the corporate board room. We aren’t careful, that is why we need to lean into Jesus, read the Bible, find solid Christian mentors, and pray always. The stakes are high, the game is fatal, but faith is not based in fear. Love is not based in fear.
Fear god is your whole spiel. Fear of God and. fear of hell. You aren’t righteous or good people, you’re bad people on a leash.
God is good. Be good in this life to yourself and others and there is no need to fear anything. Be bad, cruel and selfish and the you will be delbt with harshly by others and your own body will revolt against you. It’s fine not to believe in God and heaven. That makes being selfish and cruel a lot easier, but you’ll never be happy and no one will really like you and that sucks.
You’re right. None of us is righteous. The bible actually says that. “For ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23) That’s why we need Jesus. HE is our righteousness because we can’t do it on our own.
The bible doesn’t tell you to be afraid. As a matter of fact, the phrase ‘do not fear’, ‘do not be afraid’ or ‘fear not’ is found 365 times in the bible. That’s a daily reminder. The bible simply says to be wise. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” (Proverbs 9:10)
It’s actually very smart to be afraid because: “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” (Hebrews 10:31)
Is what this world has to offer you really so important that you’re willing to risk going to hell for it? “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, but lose his own soul?” (Mark 8:36)
Besides, you say fear as if fear were a bad thing. Fear is not a bad thing at all. It is ingrained in us and we need it to navigate danger. Fear is rational. We use it every day to keep ourselves alive and well.
Hell is real, my friend, and unless we repent of (turn away from) our sins and put our faith in what Jesus has done to save us, we are all headed there. God doesn’t send people to hell. In fact, He is the only one who provided a way out. He sent his Son to die in our place. Jesus is the only way out.
Please don’t give up your soul for the fleeting pleasures of this world. Choose Jesus.
To fear God is essentially the same as a fear for your father. It’s respect, knowing that your father will correct you if you do something wrong. That kind of awareness can keep you from doing wrong, just as a father figure can prevent children from going down the wrong path in life.
I urge you to contemplate on this a little deeper, because instead of intelligent thought, it seems like you have bitterness.
What I see with that demon is “the prince of the power of the airwaves” – Satan controlling the masses through technology and programming.
