Boycott is appropriate here, IMO; this seems to imply the intent to decimate our current food sources; I hope it flops monumentally.
That said, the famous chef Gordon Ramsay did a documentary of his tour of SE Asia & India a few years ago – *very entertaining* as his purpose was very much as a student learning their cuisines, mainly from humble laypeople; the Michelin Star Master Chef was awkward & clueless & inept at many points (especially in the Ashram). Anyway there were fair number of instances of insects as ingredients. I personally will confine my “bug consumption” to 2 specifics: sea bugs (crab, lobster shrimp, etc.) and the 8 products of the honeybee hive (bee pollen, bee bread, royal jelly, bee venom, propolis, honey, wax, and… larvae gives me pause, but is high in protein so, in a pinch.
