'Disturbing': Experts troubled by Canada’s euthanasia laws (apnews.com)

Tptb..keep escalating the walk down their slippery slope…deciding who’s life has value enough to continue living..

I used to work reception in a government office. I had some unknowledgeable co-workers who just kind of thrust forms in people’s faces. “Oh you need this? Here’s a form! Fill this out to get the thing you need!” the problem was, a lot of the time, those forms had nothing to do with what the person was actually requesting.
Most forms were filled with “legalese”, called things that made no sense. (Heck even our job titles made no sense compared to what we did. I was a receptionist, but called a technician. (Why?)
Not only that, the forms would have stupid statements on them “check this to completely invalidate everything”… wha!?!?
Most people would just trust the staff, fill out and return the form they were given. A lot of times, I’d get a form back, ask why someone filled it out, and then be like “This isn’t the form for that!”
It was really crazy, but we did the best we could. They even had a huge push to get rid of us “technicians” and make everything automated.
So to think … that the same thing is happening with EUTHENASIA!?!?! Is just absolutely sickening. + who knows? a staff member or more could be purposefully pushing it because their work load is too large, they are sick of the person they are dealing with, they are disgruntled employees, or they could be just plain evil (I know I worked with many just plain evil people in the government offices!)
