I was watching this one day my grandma was ill and it was in a program late at night showing gov brainwashing, it was showing so much of what they were doing it was really interesting and suddenly it all turned off and went to “girls gone wild” or something stupid like that.
Part of the reason I named my dog Rowdy is because of Rowdy Roddy Piper and his character Nada in They Live. Total iconic character.
The other reason I named him Rowdy is because he was a wholly terror as a puppy lol
One of my all-time favorite films. “You take these glasses off, she looks like a regular person, doesn’t she? Put ’em back on, formaldehyde face, that’s what we got!”
If you’ve never read it, the short story They Live! is based on is fantastic. It’s called 8 O’clock in the Morning and you can find it online to read for free. 🙂

The movie is a total cult classic. In occult based movies I realize whenever glasses are involved repeatedly putting on and taking off – it means something pay attention

Yes, he did. And as I recall, he enjoyed the movie and had some funny comments about it. It’s nice to see VC’s sense of humor sometimes to balance the dark topics.

I love the creepy soundtrack with that bassline at the beginning of the movie too. It sets the tone and lets the viewer know to be on the lookout for strangeness. And of course, the guy on TV trying to warn the public about the aliens.
