Nativity Scene in France

It seems all around Europe they want to take away the spirit of Christmas . What bothers me most is that in this Nativity Scene there is even Jesus missing . You know they’re afraid of the King so much they prefer to not show him . Merry Christmas everyone !

What do you think?

It is normal practice (here in Europe) you only put Him in on and after the 25th december. You cant put Him in before his birth. Yeah he isnt born in december but that is another conversation. That scene looks cheap tho, Maria has udders also wth?
Christ is king!

Last year it was the same bs , with no Jesus after 25 of december . They just put a fence and some ugly cardboard cut figures and voila Nativity Scene

Almost certainly not “udders” but the “shadow” of her hand.

Nothing less than offensive.

Many, many Catholics do not put the baby Jesus figure into the Nativity until midnight on December 25th, to symbolize His birth.. Before that we are celebrating the season of Advent.

Christmastide, or the Christmas season, only starts on Christmas Day (starting at midnight) and then goes a long time… until at least the feast of the Baptism of Jesus on January 13th, or better yet, until the feast of the Purification of Mary / Presentation of Jesus of February 2nd.

A blessed Advent, Merry Christmas, & Happy New Year to you & yours!

Well, it may as well be that they wait for the 24 th to put jesus there in the scene. This is what french used to do.
