Some recent examples of cube symbolism

A small collection of recent cube symbolism I noticed.

A lot from Kpop and one from a shooting of Rami Malek.

Probably a ton more examples could be found if one looked for it.

Among other things the cube in the occult circles is supposed to symbolize this earth itself, so these individuals holding a cube is supposed to show them as the ones “ruling” it, having it in their palm of their hand so to speak.

There is also a movie called Cube, where people are entrapped in a cube, and have to find a way to escape.

What do you think?

That’s a good collection of recent images. I’ve also been noticing black cubes appearing more than usual recently. For example, Valve (the game company behind Steam) is releasing a new computer that looks like a black cube. The computer features a single light in the form of a horizontal line, kind of like the PS4 had.

I don’t know much about K-pop and I haven’t watched the Cube, but I do know how Rami Malek got famous.
He played a genius, albeit highly traumatized grey hat hacker in Mr. Robot. The show was praised for its depiction of real hacking tools and methods. Rami’s character was slowly revealed to be suffering from Multiple Personality Disorder over the course of 4 seasons. What caused it, you may ask? He was sexually abused by his father as a child and spends the whole 4 seasons trying to move on from that horrible event (and takes down the banking system by hacking their databases and deleting every single record of debt in the process).
Now, this would be a bit weird on its own, but I recently learned that the director of Mr. Robot is the same guy who directed Leave the World Behind – Sam Esmail.

It symbolizes alienation, entrapped population.

When showed as a black box, it also symbolizes blindness due to the color black.

“Man in the box (Alice in chains)
“Trapped in a box” (No doubt)
“Think outside the box” (popular saying)
Square – slang for a limited, reactionary person

TV is a black box
Smartphone is a black box
Tablet is a black box
Cinema rooms are big black boxes
Some churches now are big black boxes
Discos were big black boxes
The kaaba is a black box
The tefilin is a black box

It is also the symbol of Saturn, Yaldabaoth, the prince of this world

It symbolizes entrapment in the 5 senses, in the limited material universe.

That new Steam pc certainly looks like a Saturn cube.
