Doubts About Larry Ellison's claim

Ellison claims that mass survalance and AI are going to make people be on their best behaviour implying the creation of social credit.
We already live in a mass survalance state: Smart devices, Youtubers, TMZ, vigilante streamers that bait and assault pedophiles “Creep Catchers“.
Usually streamers, celebrities, and politicians don’t care about getting into trouble.

Post-C19 Public servants still don’t behave themselves. on Youtube alone there are numerious videos, but here are the most notable stories of double standards (no) accountability. With plenty of evidence, the police officer was still acquited.
In this video state and federal goverment are working against each other (that’s not the only city doing that, see the next link).
As expected, state politicians and police still have their jobs, eventhough it’s technically sedition/treason.

Ironically in prisons, there is less oversight.

If it’s already known that AI will use unethical means to protect itself, What’s to stop it from suddenly going rogue again?

This also raises questions about “Due Process”, 6th/14th ammendment and will the elite like Ellison play by the same rules/have a special social credit profile that always has a high score?

I think its safe to say if enacted, social credit will only be a problem to the average law abiding person.

I’ve never heard of the “Creep Catchers.” I don’t agree with their methods. Bait and assault pedophiles, no. Bait and report pedophiles, yes.

If you’ve ever been a survivor of CSA, you’d agree with the ‘Creep Catchers’. 100%. All peeds deserve it.
