Inside tech billionaire Peter Thiel’s off-the-record lectures about the antichrist (www.theguardian.com)

Wow this guy is great at mixing the truth with lies. Maybe he isn’t intentionally being deceptive (doubt it) He has some interesting theories that he backs up with well thought out arguments to support them. But what sticks out like a tooth to me is his (supposed) concern that the Antichrist will be a luddite who wants to stop the development and use of science and technology. I’ll give him credit, I haven’t heard that one before. But I disagree. There is no evidence, as he claims, of a “slowing down” of the progression of technology. Also, I’m not seeing him provide any kind of biblical context for this. One could argue that he isn’t really Christian, but if he is speaking about a figure from the Christian Bible, then he should back it up with the book itself.
