I myself know a particular woman that did not collapse when her beautiful, 20 something years old boy with a promissing career ahead died in a tragic accident. She did not blame God either. Instead, as soon as she found that out she started giving money and gifts to the poor, and to the monasteries, helping needy persons, praying, fasting – all in the name and for the sake of her child. An offering to God, to forgive and receive his soul. And this is her mission in life until she is also gone. No need to say that many, many people judged her saying she was crazy.
