I was reading the latest VC article about Sad Satan. After reading it, I was curious about finding out how the then 14 year old poor child, Lori Mattix was doing today. Also wanted to see how the creep Jimmy Page had faired.
While reading Lori Mattix’s Wikipedia page they mentioned David Bowie.
She basically alleged that David Bowie had engaged in similar behaviour as Jimmy Page but it was debunked.
But I was especially struck by these words, “Also it is worth noting that Bowie had good character evidence, when staying in a hotel in 1972 David threatened to fire his drummer for pulling teenage girls into his room. Also in the film Labyrinth there was supposed to be a kiss scene between Bowie and co star Jennifer Connelly, but Bowie refused it because Connelly was only 16 years old.”
I found that unusual so I wondered whether he was a Christian, bc there are some people working there who are.
So I did some research and was surprised to learn that he had prayed the Lord’s prayer at Wembley stadium in front of 72,000 people live not including ppl watching through television.
I found this article very interesting too:
https://www.reallifestories.org/stories/david-bowies-prayer/
Seeing this, I am inclined to believe that he was saved.
Romans 10:9 – “that if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Matthew 10:32-33 – “Therefore everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father in heaven.”
God is still able to save you, even if you are under a slave contract, or even if you are a coward not willing to be a martyr.
Also, God is able to make amends for the ripple effect consequences of your sin as long as you pray for His assistance and protection.
May God bless you.

“God is still able to save you, even if you are under a slave contract, or even if you are a coward not willing to be a martyr.“
The mercy we have been afforded is immeasurable and humbling IMO.
You know, man is always…scratch that, I will speak for myself alone…I am on a lifelong journey of finding purpose. It is the only way I am truly fulfilled. Not money/women/material things/fame/anything else of this world, but purpose. Purpose, as I’m personally discovering, is revealed and given by my/our Creator, a little more each day (as long as I ask for and seek it). The quoted portion particularly hit me because the enemy will constantly tempt and/or taunt me…either dangling something to indulge in (ie money/women/material things/traveling/some “fun even if seemingly innocent activity”) or perhaps more effecting, tell me I am a coward of a man for not doing more “good” (ie the enemy is a liar). But yet even still, no matter how many times I’ve faltered or given in in the past, the mercy and opportunity to try again is graciously given. That is Love, for which I owe my life for.
Thank you for posting this, sister. God bless you too.
This is very positive. I hope it’s true.
This was a gorgeous incident yet I struggle to reconcile it with the story that his last album tells…
Exactly!
Bowie was a student of Crowley. Not unlike most popstars…
,,Seeing this, I am inclined to believe that he was saved. ,,
This is very nice of you to say that, ruth! I hope he was. …and I hope this for all of us here (us being saved, eventually!). Unfortunately, I believe and stick to this belief, this is something we can never be sure of (especially when we talk about ourselves). We will only get to find out in the end. Temptations and troubles always come in our way until the last day. Some say yes one moment and no the next. So what can we do other than fight? Every single day! We fall and rise again for another day, another fight because salvation is a lifelong process.
I hope he turned from bad – his early career had all the signs of him belonging to someone else.
Maybe he changed! For his sake! … although still in the industry?
Hi Crisspf,
1. https://www.gotquestions.blog/loss-of-salvation.html
2. https://www.gotquestions.org/Christian-lose-salvation.html
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.” – 2 Timothy 1:7.
“But he must ask in faith, without doubting, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That man should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.” James 1:6-8.
I don’t believe that outlook because it weakens a Christian not strengthens them. I believe it’s a lie from the devil and the flesh.
David Bowie was actually more idealistic than his peers. He did open his mind to many religious beliefs and respected them. He was also vulnerable to new age teachings and espoused them in some of his songs especially his last album. To his credit, he did search for spiritual enlightenment and wasn’t an aethist. The question is did he really find real salvation. I hope he did
The thing about Bowie is he was studying most religions rather deeply. Buddhism was a thing for him after the OTO years. He was deep into the whole kabbalah thing. But he also studied christianity.
There are stories of Bowie and Jimmy Page.
Bowie and his then girlfriend left a party Jimmy Page held, Supposedly because it went way too far for his liking.
Page, who bought the Aleister Crowley property was more into the satanic side og things within the OTO order.
Bowie said in a n interview that he wasnt afraid of Jimmy Page.
But after this incident he also isolated and used alot of “protection paraphenalia” to protect from demonic attacks and spells.
To the degree he became obsessed and psychotic.
He then went on a hiatus before he in many peoples eyes ” sold out”, signing his biggest contract and released ” Lets dance”, making music for the masses, topping charts and doing his biggest tours up to that point.
I believe it was after this tour he was tired of the whole music scene and he didnt put as much effort into it anymore.
The last part of his career he made the music he wanted to again I believe and it is filled with symbolism from both sides of the dark/light sides.
He could of course have used the darker things to “put it out there”, but it seemed to be a little of his own belief as well, the whole “Blackstar” thing.
But he and jimmy Page had a fallout over what seemed to be minors and SRA and dark rituals.
Bowie was making music with Iggy Pop as well in the late 70s, and songs like “Sweet 26” is produced and cowritten by Bowie I believe.
He wrote “China girl” I think that was about a chines( duh girl looking rather young too.
So, as always with Bowie, theres the duality og good/bad, you can arrest him for being both.
And as a result of maybe having gone too far into the dark side, he propbably did, as many before him, turn to the light siide, and Christ.
but I dont believe he ever was a deep chriastian.
He said in an interview though that the 70s was almost killing him, and that he was going insane and was tired of the whole “crowlian” side of it.
Theres Bowie for you, androgyn,darkness/light,always the duality packed into these charachters.
“The thin white duke” charachter was a nazi, Ziggy stardust a sell out Rock star..We can go on forever. Bowie is one of those artists you can study forever and still not completely cover all of what was going on.
He didn’t want to kiss Jennifer Connelly because he was gay/bi… and probably banging Mick Jagger
Bi people loves both men and women lmao. You could say gay but not bi.
I said bi because he could be, but chances are he’s full gay just like the rest of the entertainment industry
Nah, Bowie was into crossdressing and androynity, but his gay side didnt last longer than a phuxx with Lou Reed I believe it was.
He was almost always with women. Angie was his girl I think, isn´t that the girl Rolling Stones is singing about?
Either way ; Bowie was 95%+, into women.
The whole gayness of it comes from the Baphomet worshiå in the OTO, where they praise duality, androgyn living and so on.
I truly hope Bowie became a Christian and repented of his sins before he died. There is hope for all of us to repent and live a new life governed by Jesus while we still live, no matter how terrible our sins. The repentance of a great sinner will glorify God in a particular way that no one else can, by glorifying His spectacular MERCY.
However, I would be very cautious in determining people’s faith merely by their words.
Matthew 7:15-27
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thorns, or figs from thistles?
So, every sound tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears evil fruit. A sound tree cannot bear evil fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
Thus you will know them by their fruits.
“Not every one who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the Will of my Father who is in Heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your Name, and cast out demons in Your Name, and do many mighty works in Your Name?’
And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you evildoers.’
“Every one then who hears these words of Mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house upon the rock; and the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock.
And every one who hears these words of Mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house upon the sand; and the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell; and great was the fall of it.”
James 1:22
But be doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
Matthew 25:44-46
Then they also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see Thee hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to Thee?’
Then He will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it not to one of the least of these, you did it not to Me.’
And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
Again, I sincerely hope that David Bowie and others who seem to be captured by the satanic system — including other celebrities, business tycoons, heads of major institutions, and the governing leaders of the world — will make it into Heaven, but we can’t base our hopes on merely their pious words, which can easily be used to deceive people (not God though!).
I agree with you, antonia!
🙂 I might add that I am one of those who *greatly* struggles to DO the Will of God in my life, and not just say pious words and prayers.
Lord, have mercy on us, and guide us to virtue and sanctity! Blessed Mother Mary, pray for us! St. Joseph, Holy Guardian of Our Lord, pray for us!
“🙂 I might add that I am one of those who *greatly* struggles to DO the Will of God in my life, and not just say pious words and prayers.”
Using your own logic, how does that make you any different from David Bowie?
“However, I would be very cautious in determining people’s faith merely by their words.”
I am. But I know how difficult it is for even very accomplished unsaved people to do the “basic” things that David Bowie did, which is why I am hopeful.
It also wasn’t just his words I referenced.
I mentioned 2 actions from wikipedia that set this whole thing off in the first place, and him praying in front of others is an action too.
It’s interesting that you didn’t acknowledge that.
Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah! For this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by My Father in heaven. – Matthew 16:17.
“being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” -Philippians 1:6.
The verses you quoted are well and good, but they are not Romans 10:9.
–
And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him. -Hebrews 11:6.
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. – 1 John 1:9.
I find it interesting how some people relish condemning others or knowing people morally worse off than themselves. That’s not necessarily the opinion God shares.
Because a lot of people don’t understand the extent and strength of God’s love, they live like fugitives and imagine God hates them and that they are unworthy.
“The Christian does not think God will love us because we are good, but that God will make us good because He loves us.” – C.S. Lewis
All God requires from you is faith, as per Romans 10:9.
“There is no such thing as a great man of God, only weak, pitiful, faithless men of a great and merciful God.” – Paul Washer.
I am the vine and you are the branches. The one who remains in Me, and I in him, will bear much fruit. For apart from Me you can do nothing. – John 15:5.
The secret to being righteous is reading the Bible and being close to God, not checking a bucket list of good deeds.
Those good deeds naturally come about when you’re close to Him.
“But we are all like an unclean thing, And all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags; We all fade as a leaf, And our iniquities, like the wind, Have taken us away”. – Isaiah 64:6.
So what I would think is that clearly David Bowie had been neglecting his Bible.
Satan knows the Bible, quotes from the Bible and also has faith.
Also, faith alone without works is dead.
Since we are not static, like plants, let’s say (we think, speak, we act ) we are always being subjected to sin, to committing errors. Knowing the Bible verse by verse is not enough, nor just aknowledging Jesus as Saviour as long as we are denying Him through our deeds. And since we are not perfect, we, as christians, know that we can fall a thousand times within a day, every day. All we can do is actually fight, struggle. This is why I say faith is not enough and why I say we struggle till the end of our lives.
There are many that say they are saved by just believing and don’t spot the pride in it and the danger of falling into spiritual laziness. This is the danger – taking God’s love for granted and considering it is enough. The way I see it – God in His kindness provides both the purpose and the means. That’s why we are not supposed to boast with our good deeds, but the free will is always our. We say yes or no to the opportunities given to us every single day. Only when faith is accompanied by hope (that’s why we keep struggling) and love (we bear the good fruit, we do the good) we can say we are closer to salvation. We also need to humble ourselves, but this is already, somehow, a condition of love. (Un)fortunately, each day comes with this challenge. In proving our faith in God to God He requires from us to act as sons. And many times, many of us are not although we read the Bible, have the faith. Why? Because the devil is not in vacation. See? He fights, too!
Now, I am not judging David Bowie, I am just being cautious because the same David Bowie that prayed in front of that crowd continued doing what he was best at – singing his songs ( and his songs are obviously not psalms, if you know what I mean).
For instance, if he prayed and afterwards he sang something like
“” If a womans hips are ample
Then I want her in the hay
Skirt and stocking all a rample
Cheerfully
For that’s my way
If the woman bites in pleasure
Then I wipe it clean with hay
My mouth, her lap together
Not really
For that’s my way
If a woman goes on loving
When I feel to tired to play
I’d smile and go off waving, I’m leaving
For that’s my way”
I would be tempted to see his gesture as a mere marketing tool, OR, and that would really be a bad, bad thing – a mislead, a fooling-the-fools (it’s been done before). Those in the industry that really descover God and want to keep this are being quickly removed or their career is done.
“Satan knows the Bible, quotes from the Bible and also has faith.”
Satan has no faith, because he has no need of faith as he knows the facts.
The book of Job illustrates this reality as in other places.
“Knowing the Bible verse by verse is not enough, nor just aknowledging Jesus as Saviour as long as we are denying Him through our deeds.”
If you think it’s not enough, then you’re missing the whole point.
I really don’t know what to say to you if you think the Word of God and the power of God is not enough. 💀💀
You are like David’s elder bros and the Israelite army that was terrified of Goliath.
The ones that came to fight based on their own qualifications, were less effective almost useless, compared to David who came in the name of the Lord.
“All we can do is actually fight, struggle. This is why I say faith is not enough and why I say we struggle till the end of our lives.” 💀
For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace. – Romans 6:14.
So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. – Galatians 5:16.
For though we live in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh. The weapons of our warfare are not the weapons of the flesh. Instead, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every presumption set up against the knowledge of God; and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. – 2 Corinthians 10:3-6.
“There are many that say they are saved by just believing and don’t spot the pride in it and the danger of falling into spiritual laziness. This is the danger – taking God’s love for granted and considering it is enough. ”
Ironically, what you have written reeks of pompousness and spiritual laziness. It’s clear that you haven’t been reading the Bible.
When you truly comprehend as much as you can, the love God, it inspires you to go beyond your limits, I don’t know where you got that idea that it will automatically be taken for granted, unless you are speaking from experience.
Tbh, it was already a red flag when you pushed aside the Bible and advanced your own humble opinion.
Have a good day.
I’ll tell you a little story:
When St. Antony was dying, the devil said “I admit it Antony! You defeated me! “
And he replied “No! Not yet!”
When his soul left his body and fully reached its destination in heaven then St. Antony replied: “Now I defeated you!”
This is an example of how pride operates and how dangerous is for our salvation. As you can also see, we can not talk about us being saved and sure about it before death.
…..
I didn’t attack you, Ruth! I was just expressing an idea that is debated and cleared in theology and is the view of early christians as well. “ Once saved always saved“ is a dangerous doctrine rooted in calvinism, as I recall. Why dangerous? Because it implies there is no ability of man to decide for himself, it leaves him without the exercise of free will. Free will is granted to us by God Himself. With OSAS repentance is also not relevant anymore.
I am not pushing aside the bible, I am 100% for studying it in the key of what the Church Fathers considered it to be proper way of interpreting what we read. We talk here about spiritual maturity and responsability we might lack. In other words, the thing about the bible, ruth, is that we can read it and still lose the meaning of what we read without that proper guidance. That is why the apostolic succession is SO important. Apparently, Christ considered we need guidance, that is why he granted his disciples authority. And these apostles passed this responsability to others throughout the centuries. If the bible was absolutely enough people would have never needed apostles. Again, it was Jesus that saw it neccessary that we receive the guidance. We can not remove from christianity the experience, the revelations that strengthen and enrich the teachings and set the correct way of interpreting it. We will skip connecting the dots when doing it.
I hope you’re right, but esotericists also use the Lord’s Prayer. Rudolph Steiner started a religious movement called Anthroposophy based partly on Theosophy and he was very interested in an occult interpretation of the Lord’s Prayer.
https://www.rudolfsteineranthroposophy.com/l3/exercises/the-esoteric-lords-prayer/#:~:text=May%20your%20kingdom%20grow%20in,the%20sins%20done%20to%20us.
This is very different from what he prayed. They shouldn’t even call it the Lord’s prayer anything, what a joke.
Steiner analyzes the real Lord’s Prayer here.

The problem is you want to put him, Bowie, into box : heaven or hell.
fleur d amour your comments are also stained by this naive Catholics teachings, which are fanatical, judgemental, self righteous ..
And yes, steiner was into occult, but apart of it did good things, he mixed it.
Bowie seems to sway from occult to divine, was he bipolar, under mind control and used by elites or just messsed up human despite being so talented musician ?
And church itself is deeply infented by occultism and dark vibes !
I see no hope for many of you in this incarnation :
you stay firmly in embrace of jewish version of infested “catholicism” with fake fear beased teachings, of demonic yahve origin, and Bible was changed so many times..
There is reincarnation, there is divine karma law, and chakra system and nothing occult about it : but in your miserable brainwashed head you will still believe in “eternal hell” and “one life ”
this is very dark thoughtpattern and form of mind control..very middle age understanding of religion.
For me it is like you speak so much about Jesus, but do you really know Him or just this plastic church version of jesus you mean ?
Anthroposophy was inspired by Theosophy, which was founded by a self-declared Luciferian, Helena Blavatsky. And Steiner’s widow was apparently a Nazi sympathizer, and that is the some dark occultism, indeed.
You are welcome to think or believe whatever you like, but please don’t tell me what to believe.
yes i know about antroposophy.
but have to tell you because catholic teachings are infiltrated by demons and occultism as as well..
But Dharma and Veda was not changed and is eternal spirituality, not affected by imperfect human thinking.
Direct knowledge descending from God.
so your naive sentimental “righteous” comments trying to put into one “bag” new age crap with real esoteric knowledge like chakra system is ridiculous.
you have no discrimination and sounds like old school middle gae catho “zealot”.
greetings anyway.
Where on earth have you this info from, that Dharmic and Vedic system are not touched by humans?
PS – I recommend you watch the video, Altiyan Childs Exposes Freemasonry. You can Google it. It might help you understand more where we are coming from. There is a section in it about the roots of the New Age, including Theosophy.
The christian faith has Jesus in center. The founder of the Church of Christ IS Christ Himself!
Unless you lived in Jesus’s time and He told you Himself there is reincarnation (which would be a lie), know that his apostles, the ones he annointed for the mission of spreading His truth told otherwise and died for that. Had they also believed in reincarnation (because Jesus told them that) they wouldn’t have find it necessary to endure tortures and violent deaths in arenas, for example. You will find this reincarnation thing nowhere in the early christianity, in the tradition of the church, in the history of the church. No hermit, no true believer, no church theologian will ever believe and promote this idea. So, in which history of which religion, which writings, which century, which author did you hear about Jesus teaching about reincarnation?
I would be very careful when reading occult material and works coming from the pop-“historians”. You know why you will find nowhere in the Church Fathers this doctrine? Because it’s obviously false and it would also be a complete nonsense. It denies Christ!
You can see the soul of a person through his eyes.
I have to admit; Bowie hadd a more evil look later on actually.
I see a lot of volence and hate in those eyes.
He seems to ave gone to the dark side.
It could also be ‘nger and regret over having chosen to support the bad side for years of course, but his eyes looked less evil before
I agree with this. I noticed the same thing too. Younger Bowie vs older Bowie have different vibes.
I think he spent a lot of his time feeding the flesh instead of the Spirit.
Perhaps he ended up like Samson on his deathbed.
My pastor once gave a sermon about the importance of “finishing strong” when he was talking about King Solomon.
Solomon when he was young vs old, the fervour for the Lord was different.
Even David who slew the giant and wrote the Psalms, in his later years he was afraid of Saul to the extent that he ran away into the land of the Philistines and pretended to be a mad man at one point even. His sin of taking the census, and the Bathsheba one were in his later years too.
So my pastor encouraged us to finish our walk with God strong like Joseph and Daniel. He definitely explained it much better with all the analyses in between of each person.
thank you, interesting thing about Lori. About Bowie..err, many so called Christians do show off in religious style, but it doesn’t mean he was good, i was almost convinced that he was on the occult side, lyrics, etc witness it.
And now you started this naive thing :was he saved ?
because in so called Catho faith there is a fear of eternal hellish fire, “one life” and there heaven or hell ?
This is middle age style religious “zeal”, which makes so much harm to the faithful i mean many people became atheists and leave church because of this mind control fear spreading “teachings ” :
Christian original message was stripped from knowledge about reincarnation, samsara, karma ..
as much as you cathos get angry and fired up when you listen to words karma and reincarnation – haha – this is real, everybody reincarnates either you like it or not, dull fanatical “newborn” catholics reincarnate as well !!
as muslims and everybody else : because this is the divine Law in this Universe.
yes, catholicism still has some moral ground and message, but little was left from the original christian church , divine one, and bible was changed so many times by demonic elements in the church, diabolic popes etc.
So your thinking if Bowie is going to be saved is naive :
( because you were brainwashed by fake fear propaganda of eternal hell after “one life ” and such fanatical teachings have nothing to do with real Christ, who btw never ate meat.. )
everybody, even hitler or netanyahu could be saved but after serving long time in hell…long, but not eternal, according to meausre of their deeds..what kind of “God” would send you to eternity of hell after measurable amount of sin ?!?
Fake “god” jahve who is demonic occult, most like baal himself, and has nothing to do with transcendental loving Supreme God ..
So why you allow yourself to be controlled by such middle age style fanatical pesudo Christian teachings ?
catholic philosophy is very weak, big holes in it almost like in a swiss cheese , is very sentimental and fanatical, but yes still better than atheism.
This is not new age, this is eternal sacred Veda, and dharma. Educate yourself just a little even in this lifetime haha, you have eternity in front of you but the faster the better..
And yes, i liked him as well, talented musician, most likely he was swinging from side of the darkness to the light, and again, back and forth..
Greetings,
Saved by grace, not by works. I liked some of his tunes in the 90s and early 2ks when I could listen to corporate music from hell mixed into a beat. They are artistic, but they always back mask and make the beat to pull you down no matter the artist it goes through a system.
Bowie will be judged by one, we can only hope he and the rest of us be worthy. If we are not we can only hope we go to wherever we will mesh and not straight into a demons toy box.
,,Bowie will be judged by one, we can only hope he and the rest of us be worthy. If we are not we can only hope we go to wherever we will mesh and not straight into a demons toy box.,,
I like your ,,we can only hope,, !
that is why ,once saved always saved,, only applies after death. 🙂 not before!
OSAS denies the ongoing role of human will and undermines the need for vigilance, repentance, and holiness. Scripture repeatedly warns against spiritual complacency and presumption. Christ Himself teaches, “He who endures to the end will be saved”
St. Augustine said, “He who created you without you will not save you without you,” highlighting that salvation requires active cooperation with God’s grace.
Exactly!
