America Online logo (circa 1991)

Eye and pyramid.

From wikipedia.org:

AOL (formerly a company known as AOL Inc. and originally known as America Online[1]) is an American web portal and online service provider based in New York City, and a brand marketed by Yahoo! Inc.

One of the most known and successful internet service providers of the 90s;  it has been reduced to nothing after being acquired many times over.

Interesting logo choice and this company made a lot of money surpassing existing and established competitors.

What do you think?

Had no idea of the symbolism at the time.
Seeing it with my current eyes it is beyond obvious.

I see a triangle with an O inside. Could be a pyramid and an eye, yeah, but frankly, it’s much more likely just a simple, harmless logo to me.
