Is there a list of which stations have been purchased?

I am a very cynical and skeptical person by nature. I have a long commute to work each day and, since my car & phone don’t like each other, it’s a real pain to use Bluetooth to listen to my preferred media. The drive is too long and stressful to have nothing on, so I usually opt for radio. I have a few stations I like, mainly for a smattering of talk shows…. I don’t always agree with the hosts (in fact, they often lean a bit too liberal for me, but they also stay vague enough on politics that it’s not a dealbreaker).

That said, there were a few stations I saved for music. They usually play older hits, sometimes classic rock but often just top 10 hits from past decades. I cycle through the stations whenever an ad or a bad song comes on. Just recently I have noticed that one of my saved stations, that I have listened to for years, has totally changed. It’s primarily a music station and used to play music like I mentioned just now… For the past month or two, every time I check that station, it’s ALWAYS rap and hip-hop… And not like 80s and 90s era, when it could be argued that there was occasionally some level of substance or meaning to the songs…

Yet also not current rap either? For some reason, it seems to be 24/7, early-to-mid-2000s party rap. Like the absolute dumpster tier, painfully obnoxious, totally talentless, and often autotuned crap that was popular 15+ years ago. I think I first noticed it nearing the end of the summer and I thought, maybe this is some weird summer throwback thing they’re doing temporarily? Or maybe it’s a certain time at night/day of the week? I wasn’t paying enough attention and that station was always like the backup to the backup choice for me anyway. So I brushed it off. But now for months it’s been nothing but that garbage music and I cannot emphasize enough how out of character it is.

There are other stations I listen to that have occasionally played rap but never of that era/style. It’s very strange and sudden and I never heard an announcement or explanation as to why. Today I was driving home and once again landed on that station. It was a Lil Jon song. I forgot about him but he was somehow more painfully obnoxious than 90% of rappers. I skipped away immediately and later in the drive, flipping channels again… A different Lil Jon song was on. I actually cursed out loud to myself at that point because it just made me angry, this trash on top of the long drive and bad traffic… Ads everywhere or Lil Jon. I was ready to scream (lol)…

So… I am going to be removing that station from my presaved ones tomorrow on my way to work. I held out thinking this was some weird temporary thing they were doing that was unexplained. But it is clear to me they must’ve been bought out by somebody because I haven’t even heard a dj introduce anything since before this started. I am actually sickened by it for some reason… it just felt so odd and forced. Like seeing something nostalgic suddenly do a complete 180 with no explanation or chance of turning back. I hope other people are boycotting that station and have complained. I can only hope that they will lose enough listeners to have to shut it down honestly. I dont know what purpose it serves when we already have plenty of shitty rap stations but this one is even worse than the others and its out of nowhere.

Thank you for coming to my ted talk

Yes, being forced to listen to Lil Jon might provoke one to curse out loud.

“I can only hope that they will lose enough listeners to have to shut it down honestly. “ I get you, Lee, but if it is one of those 200 radio stations it won’t shut down.

We need to not only write-in to the FCC but also boycott those stations, and possibly call for boycotts on any company that advertises on those stations. Soros and his comrades are the true danger to democracy and need to be thwarted.

I will be interested to hear from any of you here if you notice any of your regular radio stations changing, and in what ways after this hostile takeover by Soros.

Pro-globalist crappy talk-shows, alphabet views being pushed forward and crappy music (it has to be tasteless, noisy and with a crappy message)

Gotta be in control of radio in a catastrophe. Will it be soon?
