The beatles album cover for “Yesterday and Today” was a bit controversial to say the least; it featured the members dressed in butcher coats holding raw meat and baby-doll parts.
Multiple angles and shots were produced and you can easily google “beatles butcher cover” for the alternative takes – if you can stomach it.
After an outcry, they rereleased it with alternative covers. It was released in 1966, or is it 1666?
While the members insisted (at the time) it was in protest of the Vietnam war, I call bullshit. It is a celebration of the carnage the elite love so dear that has been happening yesterday and today. Pun intended!
Is this a nod to child sacrifice? Who knows but it is quite graphic and disturbing for a brit-pop band.

One thing to consider is this (very telling) …
If this is a protest for the Vietnam war, the killing of children and such … why are they smiling and goofing off?
Just look at George Harrison holding the baby dolls head and grinning.
As King Solomon stated God’s wisdom, he gave us Ecclesiastes 1:9-11.
And so it is.
I dont get the conxept of this? So getting pictorial with decapidated bodies of babies while smiling?
They’re part of the elite. It’s what they do. Of course we, you don’t get it. We/you still have what some refer to as a soul.
left top corner says it all
It looks like they were having a jolly ol’ time over at capitol records!
Act natural? That’s what it says.. whoa
The Beatles were into the occult. The Sgt Pepper album with that depraved Crowley amongst the sea of faces. Also their film Help was all about a human sacrifice.
