Bad Bunny at MET Gala 2024, whose shoes are similar to the hoofs of a goat, commonly used to represent Baphomet.

Everything about these people is ugly. Honestly. Even if someone wears the most beautiful clothes, if a soul is ugly then everything about them is ugly.

Right on. I scrolled through photos of all 260something attendees, and maybe two women (are they women?) looked genuinely happy. Maybe they haven’t figured out why they were invited yet. The rest of them have the faces of witches and lizard people.
A few of them looked frozen and genuinely scared; maybe at being at a huge celebrity event, to be fair, but I’d be terrified to be at an event with all of those people, too.

I read the theme was based on a story called The Garden of Time where a male and female aristocrat seek to protect their material treasues from the rabble of common people. The mindset of Anna Wintour in a nutshell. You’re right, I kept thinking that room is the last place on Earth I would want to be. And that museum is full of pagan artifacts up to and including an Egyptian temple. Who knows what they are up to in there.

Well, I found the Garden of Time story, and the aristocrat and his wife spend their last day of life…dusting and polishing their many treasures, instead of spending it with each other. Here it is, it’s a quick read: Read the 1962 Short Story That Inspired This Year’s Met Gala Theme ‹ Literary Hub (lithub.com)

I think it may be about the Saturn cube, the prison of material reality, with its focus on time and material objects. Even the female aristocrat is described like a beautiful object belonging to the male. And look here, this is the collection it came from, with a one eye cover. No wonder if was chosen to inspire this event, a celebration of material culture embodied in an elite imperialist museum institution: The Complete Stories of J. G. Ballard a book by J. G. Ballard and Martin Amis (bookshop.org)

I read about that too! It struck me that not ONE person commenting on the numerous articles about this absurd event, took note of the theme. They are literally laughing in our faces and the braindead masses lap it up and ask for more! Thinking this is glamorous… Sad, sad state of affairs in our society today.

Thank you for sharing these resources. The MET Gala theme always seems to be something with a blatantly creepy, sinister edge to it. I see this year’s story fits right in.

This year was also particularly odd in that the celebs were as fake and superficial as always, whilst major protests were bring held in the streets just outside. Really highlighted the contrast between the “elites” and the “peasants”. It felt even more dystopian than normal. Looks like one of the articles you posted mentions that aspect, as well.

Thank you for sharing. Good to know that at least some outlets pointed this out; hopefully more people will take note. I’m always hoping that with each event like this, it will be the final straw for at least some people… That it will be the watershed moment that wakes them up to the agendas.

Reminds me of the Rolling Stones “Start Me Up’ cover art, with the furry hoof in the high heeled shoe.

“…if you start me up I’ll never stop…” they always tell us, but most of us have to learn for ourselves.

Good catch. That’s a disturbing cover on many levels, and it’s hard to find any info on it. Hard to deny the Rolling Stones blatant satanic nature.

It is astonishing what is right out there in plain sight once you know what to look for, isn’t it?

Best film. This moment has resonated with me for over 15 years now! Wish more people would put the glasses on.

Mr Bunny looks as though the Taylor who designed his jacket was highly intoxicated and just grabbed a boring men’s blazer and started poking it through with yarn on a needle, and he didn’t even tie it off or finish his work. But nothing boldly states “I’m the smartest slave at this gala” like those glasses Mr Bunny models.

Notice the red threads: at his throat, the floral bloom over his heart, but most glaringly, his dual inseams which look like nothung more than blood streaming from his groin…
