Plastic food packaging contains chemicals that disrupt the endocrine system — and that can leach into food, a new study has found.
Once there, these chemicals can mimic — or disrupt — the effects of the hormones estrogen and testosterone on the body, according to the study published on Tuesday in Environmental Science & Technology.

Trader Joe’s is single handedly taking out the world then 😂 Their amount of packaging is insane.
Not one to assume anything, I just wanted to post about their most recent recall of plastic bits possibly being in frozen chicken and dumplings sold by them. I know that recalls aren’t always mandatory, so they, and other companies are doing the RIGHT THING when issuing recalls. I remember a beautiful baby boy dying due to a chicken plant refusing to issue a recall. It was one of the big salmonella outbreaks not sure when, early 2000’s or sometime in the 1990’s. Companies are trashed in addition to losing money, reputation, etc, when they (again, VOLUNTARILY) issue recalls, but they should NEVER be made fun of (I don’t mean you, friend!!) when they do so, because it is to our BENEFICE that we not EVER discourage doing the right thing (issuing recalls)!!!
Corporations are dead entities.
Make fun of them all you want because they don’t exist in nature!
They come and go. Buildings stay, names change.
Employees get demoted and fired. Pensions lost.
