Doctor Sleep, watched the movie from 2019 the other day. It was all about sucking the souls from people/children that are being tortured to make their essence more powerful, much like adrenochrome. It was actually quite disturbing movie, wonder how he knows so much about this stuff.

This is one of the dudes I would like to see a full write up cover. Symbolism in his novels, weird/curious events in his life, etc.
With the way his name has been consistently present in the media, and things like that shirt, I can’t help but think there is more to it than “this one dude is a really good author”.

I won’t be surprised if he channel demons to write his books like a lot of New Agers do. Alice Bailey and HP Blavatsky both channeled most of their books.

When I was younger, I once had a sort of irrational fear when reading one of his book (‘The Monkey’). I couldn’t explain the reason at the time.

But he isn’t. His storytelling is okay but his characters are very 2d.

I believe this photo of King was taken from the jacket of his Book, “Insomnia”. Not his best work but I found it to be an OK read. Somewhat eerily, after having read his Dark Tower series I began to notice several parallels from that series of 7 Novels to my own reality. For some reason, I began to see, read or hear about something called the “Dogan”. Probably just a coincidence.

“This RKO-Pathé Screenliner short highlights the work of the Pinkerton National Detective Agency, the USA’s oldest private detective company. The title “We Never Sleep” is part of the Pinkerton company’s logo.”
