Utah primary schools ban Bible for 'vulgarity and violence' (www.bbc.com)

The ban followed a parental complaint that the book has content unsuitable for children.

Well, then they will also have to ban movies, tv programs, music, newspapers, the internet, sports, politics, etc. because of violent and sexual content.

The article does not state what violence in the Bible they are referring. Utterly ridiculous.

the Bible is no doubt full of vulgarities and violence.

For example sins of Samaria/Israel (Ohola) is depicted vulgarly in Ez 23: 8 – She did not give up the prostitution she began in Egypt, when during her youth men slept with her, **caressed her virgin bosom and poured out their lust on her**.

Sins of Jerusalem/Judah (Oholibah) is depicted vulgarly in Ez 23:20 – here she lusted after her lovers, whose genitals were like those of donkeys and whose emission was like that of horses

To xyz and aaa:

I am Torah observant (not Talmudic).

The Torah shows us the evil mankind creates and how God instructs us to overcome our evil tendencies. It is an instruction manual to show us how to get right with Him.

Yeah, what’s good for the goose etc etc. Set the parameters, and live with the results. Bible is full of rape, slavery, incest, murder, abortion, genocide. Don’t like it? Don’t ban books. Period.

True. Religious moronic moralistic authority have been the biggest ban-ners in history. Wear these downvotes as crown.

It is an account what people are able to do. If you don’t like it, your choice. Although, you could learn something of it.

The thing is every rule made can and will be used against the populace and for the populace I’m accordance to how they want things to lay, like masons building a building.
