I’d say NZ ranked number 2 underneath China in its authoritarian Covid behavior.

They’ve also got a history of artsy advertisements.

There’s nothing weird about it, it’s just a precaution ad for dangerous or reckless driving that will lead to someone’s death, could be someone you cherish and vulnerable like your child, so it warns you to think twice before embarking on long roads…it’s an Advert Made by the Transportation Authority , so ….. maybe sometimes, see too much in when there is only what we see in appearance…

Well said. It may be weird but that was due to the creative way they wanted to get you thinking about losing someone you love due to driving poorly.
