That part especially makes me sad, for the baby unable to nurse and for the mother unable to as well. I’m adopted, so I was given formula and now I have an autoimmune disease. Is that why, I don’t know, but I nursed both my babies for as long as I could. It was a beautiful, bonding experience. I could only have 2, and when I had to stop bf’ing the 2nd it really made me sad.
I feel such sympathy for moms who can’t.

The entire body paint suit weirds me out too. Why not just wear clothes?
I think it was not in their intentions, but to me it’s quite symbolic: it looks like a suit but it’s not, it’s just an illusion, and so is the person “wearing” it, she might look like a man but she is not, she is a woman (and the baby bump proves it unequivocally).
You’re pregnant because you are a woman.
