It’s the competitive drive from male athletes who are not good enough to be competitive against other other men so they compete against women who they can beat. They’ll realise in ten or twenty years that not only do all their winners trophies have women on them and none have men, but they also denied the rightful winners their trophies. There is no honour in what they do and they can never make amends to the women they have cheated, some of whom may have finished in record time.
