And the message on the last frame is so diabolically subliminal. They say “See the women changing how we see the future”. If they were women-women, then the slogan would have easily made sense: let’s celebrate women; they give birth to our future etc. But we actually perceive first “see the women changing” (which tells us that actually women are not what they used to be, that there is change in the definition) and then “how we see the future” (which means that this change is here to stay for the future). They should have said it directly “men pretending to be women, this is how we see the future”. I am wondering if this chocolate brand does this hoping to increase sales or it’s simply willing to lose revenues just to be part of the propaganda? How do execs get to such decisions in the board room?
