Of course it is rigged. Perhaps the not all of the players may be knowingly involved, but I guarantee that the owners, head coaches, and refs are.

Even discounting the evil hand of those groups controlling our media, There is no way that something involving as much money as pro sports can exist without controlling the outcome for as much profit as possible. The owners would not leave it to chance. Add in the psychological aspect of controlling the viewer/fans, and it is even more obvious that controlling the outcome of the game is needed.

Roddy Piper, famed pro wrestler, once said something that stuck with me about sports, and I am paraphrasing, “I don’t need to sell the match they are watching that night. We already got that money. I need to sell them on coming back next time.” This is one of the reasons I respect Pro-Wrestling far more than other pro “sports”. They admit the outcome is scripted.

Edit: this is nothing against Piper. I loved watching him as a kid, and by all accounts, he was a great guy. It is the honesty of his quote for the reasoning behind doing what wrestlers do that stuck with me and caused me to question other pro “sports”. Really, another “They Live” moment from the Rowdy one.

I agree, watching pro wrestling gave me the same insight into how all sports operate, they are just more honest about it

Watching wrestling gave me insight to politics as well. Both guys are paid by the same promoter, but their job is to manipulate the emotions of the crowd to cheer, boo, obsess over the content, and pay to come back for more.

A good talker in wrestling can whip the crowd in to a frenzy, making them feel what he wants them to feel. Take a look at how guys like Dusty Rhodes (his “hard times promo”), Roddy Piper, and Jake the Snake best promos. Then watch how politicians talk.

That’s why the Vikings can’t make it to the super bowl.

I have 2 cousins who are really good at football. They were talked about in our local media and were gifted scholarships to play college football. My family hopes they make it to the NFL. But they don’t realize that athletes describe their time in the big leagues as slavery and considering if they really make a deal with the devil and obey. All of our lives are on the line including their own.

Jill Biden was wearing an eagles t-shirt, so maybe the NFL has decided that the Eagles will win the Super Bowl?

I stopped watching tellavision after realizing that the Mayweather and Pacquiao fight was rigged.
That very night. Cold turkey.

I don’t understand how this is possible on a large scale.
There are way too many parts to control. Sure you could control a small group of individuals. However in such a chaotic sport their contribution is not guaranteed to the level of following a script. I suppose with demonic help it might be possible?
It doesn’t make sense on such a large scale.

It’s simple.
Money

No, you are assuming everyone is driven by money.
There are many sincere Christians in the NFL.
The sheer number of people needed to participate in this fraud makes it ridiculous. If true it has to be on a much smaller scale than league wide!
Extraordinarily claims require extraordinary proof and I see none here.
I do not rule it out it is just that I don’t see how this is possible.

It’s really as simple as love of money. Our whole government/corporate complex is built on it. If you’re reading this site and are still that blind I don’t know if we can help you.

There are devout men that play in the NFL, just as there are pious Christians that work, in some aspect, for businesses that do terrible things. Like, I would not blame the janitors at Paramount for the horrid things that the company produces. As far as the sports topic, I do not suggest that *all* the players are in on a fix. It would be insane to think that sort of thing would work. In fact, it would be better to only have a few working the game: the refs and head coaches. We know they can’t control every aspect (physics exists…). But the things they can do can get the game results where they want it to be. The refs miss a call here or make a call there to shift the game in favor of one side or the other. The head coach tells the players to run one plan rather than another, knowing it will not work as well. Think back to what I mentioned earlier about pro wrestling. The men & women go out there knowing who is supposed to win. They may not know all the moves they will do that night. They just know X has to win & they need to make it look good. One of the two may get legit hurt during the match, and the finish may not be the submission hold that was planned, they may need to do a pin & 3 count. The end result is the same either way (X won). That is what I mean by “the game is scripted”.

In boxing you only need to corrupt a single person. Easily done.

I love VC moto: “the world is run by symbols”.
It would be great if we start a logo analysis of NFL teams, hidden messages, dark sides of each team, so that everyone supporting a team knows exactly what is he supporting, sympathizing with.

I saw photos of African children wearing Super Bowl winner shirt with the wrong teams for the year listed. I then learned they print both sides and have both on hand at the event.

When I learned this, I saw it for what it really was.
