Do the 12-14 year olds who were the main users of snapchat when it started even use it anymore? It’s interesting seeing Augmented Reality being pushed as a major selling point now. I bet they’re chomping at the bit to see what Apple announces for their goggles. As soon as Apple opens the door, like with their watch, everyone else will jump into this new market.
And then there is DR, diminished reality, where instead of “the floor is beans”, you can “remove white people” or “remove men”.
I’m 16 & can tell you, with utmost surety, that at least a large chunk of the original crowd still uses it (watching a straight man in his twenties make a cute face for a snap is a surreal experience). The precise percentage of original users that still use it consistently? I couldn’t tell you, by personal estimate. Statistics tend to be faulty, but here’s one anyway:

Today, the majority of high-school students in brick-and-mortar institutions use it regularly, especially girls.
One eye, third eye, aliens, animal human hybrids, etc. This is chock full of garbage.
I’m not spending a lot of time on this, just a few quick things – the newscasters with their noses remind me of the “art” sculptures of the children sold recently for tens-hundreds of thousands from some ultra high-end designer house – the kids were all mutilated with phalluses for noses, etc. Entertainment people are all breathing playtoys for the elites.

The yellow keyhole-ish symbol between the eyes that becomes a portal resembles the back of Shrek’s head (and somewhat an executioner’s hood). An ogre is a “legendary monster depicted as a large, hideous, man-like being that eats ordinary human beings, especially infants and children.”
The blue creatures with the huge eyes and teeth I’ve seen before but no image nor keyword search I can come up with tells me what they’re supposed to be. Creepy, posed here as if they’re just jolly friends. Who will eat your face and never alter expressions.
At the end, the people are sitting in the train and have been transformed by this technology, and she says, “The floor is beans” and to be sure, they look exactly like a popular canned brand of pork and beans – one more way of calling the people pigs/swine as they look insanely oblivious as to their real surroundings or to the cheap ingredients for consumption they’ve become.
