San Francisco is launching a new guaranteed-income program for transgender residents, Mayor London Breed announced Wednesday. The Guaranteed Income for Trans People pilot program will provide 55 low-income transgender residents with $1,200 a month for up to 18 months.

Setting aside the obvious questions of whether this is necessary or fair ~ $1,200/month? In San Francisco?!? Oh yeah, that’ll totally get them out of poverty… 🙄

Someone will sue, it is an unfair use of taxpayer dollars to “guarantee income” for one class of people only.
They’re already doing the same for Black and Latino residents and for pregnant women ~ based on their assessment of which residents are most in need. Purportedly.
Pelosi is allegedly going to the legislature in San Francisco where she will undoubtedly coordinate passing laws that codify ‘guaranteed income’. In fact, any kind of “guaranteed income’ that anyone receives from the government will be disseminated from a digital wallet held by the government. That money has strings attached that enslaves you to the government. You will have to comply with whatever willy-nilly conditions the government sets at any given time in order to access that ‘guaranteed income’. For example, you will have to have a digital id that contains your bank information, vaccination status, passport, etc. in order to receive that digital money. Any citizen that refuses to comply will eventually be labeled an enemy of the state.
