Rainn Wilson was a main character. Pretty sure he’s a part of the club just based off of his rage filled Trump Derangement Syndrome a couple years ago.
Patton Oswalt, another highly suspect guy, was in the punk concert crowd. He was also the “lizard person” in Al’s Aluminum Foil conspiracy theory music video.
My gut says there is more off about both of those two.
The movie was disappointing. A handful of good moments and jokes, but the writing and acting was bad. Daniel did a good job.
I hate to thing Al is part of the Hollyweird crowd. He does have a curious group around him at times. That said, even before I stumbled across some of the more seedy truths of Hollywood, I questioned if the Al we see is the same all from the early days or if he was replaced.
