Masonic Nintendo World Entrance in Japan

The Super Nintendo World entrance in Japan features masonic symbols seen all over the world in masonic temples and government buildings. The checkerboard floor, and the sun symbol in the center. Why in the world would they put this at the entrance to a kids park?

What do you think?

It seems to be a reference to the interior of Peach’s Castle from Super Mario 64. If Mario stands on the sun symbol and looks up, he enters a level that is high in the sky.

A few months back there was a thread started on Vigilant Links addressing the symbolism in Mario 64. If you really want to go down that rabbit hole click the link: https://vigilantlinks.com/2022/03/masonic-symbols-in-super-mario-64/
