Depraved horror movie causes viewers to vomit, faint in the theater (feedpress.me)

This is literally scaring people sick.

While most horror films keep people up at night, slasher flick “Terrifier 2” is apparently so graphic that viewers are vomiting and passing out in their seats. Social media users shared their appalling viewing experiences ahead of the special release of director Damien Leone’s film Thursday.

“My friend passed out and the theater called an ambulance. Highly recommended.”

I read somewhere where a lot of these horror flicks are “Snuff” films. Especially the ones without big name Hollywood “stars”.

Most people would be horrified if they knew how often torture and death scenes in films were actually real.

They’ve been doing this in Hollywood for decades. You may think just because a big star is involved that it won’t happen, but a lot of them are actually into that sort of thing! (it just won’t be them dying).

If they dont use real footage, you can be sure they use real screams and sound recordings — for example the famous James Bond death sound used in a lot of movies is a real recording of someone.

Interesting. The first I’ve heard someone say this. It’s like musicians using real sex sounds in their sound design. Definitely a type of magic when you infuse stuff with vibrations like that.

That’s why you don’t watch Horror movies in theaters – theaters that are meant to desensitize you and program you with their immersion. If you’re mature enough to appreciate Horror movies, do so at home in an environment that doesn’t overwhelm the senses. Or just don’t watch horror movies at all and watch something intellectually stimulating instead lol. Many of these horror movies are fruitless.

They say this about every horror movie, it’s normally the marketing people that get it started, well done for helping to advertise it further

This right here. It’s just like claiming a movie is “cursed.” Pure crap designed to challenge people to buy tickets, to show they’re “brave enough” to watch it.

I will never understand the appeal of horror movies. I am okay with some violence (if it is critical to the story) but gratuitous violence is not okay. And I certainly don’t understand anyone who enjoys watching people be tortured and killed. There’s something not right with you if this is the kind of entertainment you like. Some people may be offended by me stating that, but that’s my honest opinion. I don’t trust anyone who enjoys stuff like this.
