The super-rich ‘preppers’ planning to save themselves from the apocalypse (www.theguardian.com)

Tech billionaires are buying up luxurious bunkers to survive a societal collapse they helped create, but like everything they do, it has unintended consequences

One had already secured a dozen Navy Seals to make their way to his compound if he gave them the right cue. But how would he pay the guards once even his crypto was worthless? What would stop the guards from eventually choosing their own leader?

The billionaires considered using special combination locks on the food supply that only they knew. Or making guards wear disciplinary collars of some kind in return for their survival.”

What do you think?

I bet all these ‘food recalls’ lately is a way for the elites to stock up their bunkers

I wonder who they think will serve them. Do they want to just live underground with their guards for years being bored?. If they have children will those children be their slaves? They plan to destroy the earth and hide in a tunnel like ants but they’ll be too old to ever come up and enjoy anything, no sun no wind no rain just dark earth, hell. If they are frozen and reanimated they will be completely ignorant and not know how to live in a society that is based on something totally different and will recognize them immediately as they will be more spiritual vs built around the material. Maybe their machines will short circuit and it will be a tomb. Imagine how quickly the guards will turn on them as soon as they get those passwords.

What transcends from their actions is a pathological fear of dying and of losing their worldly belongings. Sooner or later they will meet the same faith as their much poorer counterparts; they forget that death won’t make any distinction between rich or poor. Insulating themselves from the others may work for a short while but you can’t beat death, destiny etc. They have clearly chosen the worldly life, which will inevitably come to an end, but forgot to prep for the afterlife instead.

Maybe the question to ask would be “why do they fear death ?”

It’s a rhetorical question but the answer is probably the following: they fear death because they think that this temporary life is everything. They are under the impression that, if they have so much wealth, they are in control, some kind of semi-gods. But they forget that absolute control does not belong to them. Can they be sure to wake up tomorrow morning? No and nobody can be sure about what lies ahead, no matter who you are, how much you prep and how much wealth you gather. One day you lose everything because you are mortal and you have no real control about where and how you will die. They mistake wealth for power and control because they don’t believe in God. Or, if they do believe, they probably think that all that wealth is a sign that God loves them. But what if their wealth was a test, to see what they would do with it? Would they share it with people or would they kill to have more? Would they keep a low profile and do good with it or beat the drums and flash it ostentatiously/use it to demolish mankind? This is simply about free will. But the devil is so hard at work trying to hijack our free will…

and from their bunkers they will do as scripture says Revelation 6:16
“They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!”
