I watched this show out of curiosity to see how they would handle occult ritual abuse. It seemed pretty much on track in a lot of ways.
Until the very end. It’s a limited series, which usually means there won’t be a season 2. Makes me think it was a little too on the nose, so someone studio higher-up said, “Let’s change the very last minute of the show! It will change the meaning of the whole thing!”
They had to leave people confused and off-balance after they told so much truth.
Didn’t watch it. But I did do some research on it. From what I read. They didn’t deprogram her correctly and since she went back to the cult. I’m assuming she was starting to miss being abused by them considering the psychiatrists family was dysfunctional. They get their own special high after being abused and are uncomfortable or scared of peace. I’ve experienced this spiritual euphoria after being abused by demonic spirits in dreams before. Correct me I’m wrong though since you actually watched it. It’s also why people love horror and being scared. My mom is addicted to horror movies and loves the ones about demonic possession.
I don’t think they tell the truth in the series. they always misrepresent everything… I feel like the same thing happened with the series. The cult did everything they wanted, they make them look like they are just manipulators and not all that they really are… and in the end, they made it look like the girl did everything on her own and the cult just disappeared without a trace. The only thing that seemed real to me were the episodes that practically demonstrate how the triggers work in the minds of these people who have suffered from SRA and who never stop practicing witchcraft.
Please help me with that. I had a weird dream two nights ago. I was in a hospital and a red haired nurse approached me to draw blood from me. Suddenly she dropped everything she was doing and drew a devil face on a mirror with lipstick. I was scared. She told me her name is Nicole with an evil smile. Was that an evil entity? The Harlot of Babylon? But why was her name Nicole though?
