Oh look, they changed the main male lead in this series into a female again. I swear communist writers have three ideas they pass of as creativity. 1 – Make him gay. 2 – Make him brown. 3 – Make him a girl.
Just lazy.
Actually that actor is a transgender female so make them trans also works.
Ok. So, the one eye thing is there. It’s a demon. I am sure the film will have lots to dig in to.
That said, As far as the gender/sex thing, it is worth pointing out that in the original story by Clive Barker, the Hell Priest/Pinhead’s gender is ambiguous with a feminine voice. I am not trying to hand wave anything away, and I hate to say it, but this casting is actually closer to the source material.
The least shocking one eye symbol ever!
