Los Angeles is the most occult place I have ever been. And I think the Cali part of California may actually be Kali, the demon goddess of tantric kundalini.
Definitely agree, on both points. I visited a friend there once, years ago, and we went into town to tour the art gallery ~ and I swear you could FEEL the negative energy hovering over the city like a thick fog. It was the weirdest unsettling feeling.
I don’t see how this could come as a surprise to anyone who has heard the song. The lyrics are pretty blatantly dark. The entire song is about how Hollywood’s glitz and glamor is an illusion.
Some lyrics from the song:
“Space may be the final frontier but it’s made in a Hollywood basement.”
“Pay your surgeon very well to break the spell of aging.”
Also this weirder one:
“Psychic spies from China try to steal your mind’s elation. Little girls from Sweden dream of silver screen quotation. It’s understood that Hollywood sells Californication.”
So, I’m not celebrating the song, but I don’t think it could possibly be any clearer what is being said if you actually listen to the lyrics. The message is loud and clear… This song always depressed me when I would hear it on the radio.
And who wants to be called flea.. fleas suck blood. Another vampire.
If anyone is a fan of the band you’ll realise what their songs are about. They’re about education. They’re about those who see the truth. Seeing the truth can bring depression when you realise there isn’t much that can be done. I love the band. Also the band ended up breaking up previously (they’ve now reunited) because one of them was deeply into conspiracies etc and he said he really broke his mind. He ended doing more drugs etc to escape. Anyways they have a new song called poster child and it’s about the entertainment industry.
Reminds me of Madonna’s “Hollywood”. A similar song released around the same time.
Similar lyrics as well, even better illustrated by its music video.
It’s made in a Hollywood Basement.
Which means space is fake!
Well it means that they faked going to the moon but they did go into space. Many other astronauts have gone into space but they have not been “back “ to the moon again
