A parasitological evaluation of edible insects and their role in the transmission of parasitic diseases to humans and animals (journals.plos.org)

Conducted parasitological examination suggests that edible insects may be the most important parasite vector for domestic insectivorous animals:

From 1 January 2018 came into force Regulation (EU) 2015/2238 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 November 2015, introducing the concept of “novel foods”, including insects and their parts. One of the most commonly used species of insects are: mealworms (Tenebrio molitor), house crickets (Acheta domesticus), cockroaches (Blattodea) and migratory locusts (Locusta migrans). In this context, the unfathomable issue is the role of edible insects in transmitting parasitic diseases that can cause significant losses in their breeding and may pose a threat to humans and animals. The aim of this study was to identify and evaluate the developmental forms of parasites colonizing edible insects in household farms and pet stores in Central Europe and to determine the potential risk of parasitic infections for humans and animals. The experimental material comprised samples of live insects (imagines) from 300 household farms and pet stores, including 75 mealworm farms, 75 house cricket farms, 75 Madagascar hissing cockroach farms and 75 migrating locust farms. Parasites were detected in 244 (81.33%) out of 300 (100%) examined insect farms. In 206 (68.67%) of the cases, the identified parasites were pathogenic for insects only; in 106 (35.33%) cases, parasites were potentially parasitic for animals; and in 91 (30.33%) cases, parasites were potentially pathogenic for humans. Edible insects are an underestimated reservoir of human and animal parasites. Our research indicates the important role of these insects in the epidemiology of parasites pathogenic to vertebrates. Conducted parasitological examination suggests that edible insects may be the most important parasite vector for domestic insectivorous animals. According to our studies the future research should focus on the need for constant monitoring of studied insect farms for pathogens, thus increasing food and feed safety.

I had thought it was just demeaning. Didn’t think it was part of the depop plan. Wow thanks for the heads up.

In various cultures ex Africa, Asia etc insects are food, for the people there It may be disgusting to you and your culture but for others its just normal. When properly cooked, locusts and some beetles are actually quite tasty if the carapaces are removed. Please dont condemn practices that you arent familiar with. Expand your mind. The internet should have made people more tolerant of harmless differences but now there so many echo rooms on the net that it has divided and ostracized people for the shallowest of reasons.

…Do you honestly believe that if the people eating insects in these places had unbridled access to the ridiculously wide variety of foods we have in the West, they would still eat bugs!? Do you even realize the reason Westerners “condemn” eating bugs in the first place? We’ve never had to resort to that. No, it isn’t normal; unless you have a screw loose in the first place, human beings have a natural aversion to pests, and eating insects is almost ALWAYS a last resort. No one with even a modest amount of wealth is voluntarily eating bugs.

Stop being obtuse.

John sounds like a cheerleader for the global goons who thought this garbage diet up in the satanic EU/UN. That sentence exactly was posted by WEF the other day. Making the absolute obvious hue & cry ‘racist’ to those who are repelled a all normal human beings are. The people who eat that way are starving. The eat insects bc they are on a desperation starvation diet. That’s the bigger problem. To act like it’s a cultural phenomenon is so false and phony it makes me sick.

One possible reason that Ivermectin had such strong pushback (horse paste) is that it is removes parasites. Why do we remove parasites from our pets and horses and such but not humans? Because it might serve a purpose to the overlords.

Most people already have a parasite load they are completely unaware of that is causing and contributing to a lot of chronic diseases and syndromes. A broad spectrum natural med like Paraguard works wonders. Many who’ve taken it, especially older folks, report debilitating symptoms, so they stop. But if they’d just power through it they’d feel worlds better. Those symptoms are from die-off. And yes, I’m talking “first world” citizens.

Nice post good info. MMS is a product I have been using for about 15 years it is the most powerful pathogen killer of all kinds that I know of. It is a simple compound that already has practical uses for many years like treating municipal water supplies and also the gases are used to kill molds and fungus. The MMA has been attacking them (Jim Humble and his ‘ministers’) for decades throwing many in prison on trumped up charges. The internet has all kinds of warnings about it calling it bleach but household bleach is a different compound and not at all the same – although MMS will “bleach” clothing if spilled on it has no toxic effects and turns into table salt if it doesn’t hit a pathogen in which it molecularly changes by taking off electrons making them inert. It helped me massively in getting rid of parasites and a enormous debilitating case of Candida. Do the research and follow the protocols to hugely improved health.

That is the way with most natural chemicals. I can’t tell you how many people are now convinced that hydrogen peroxide “explodes cells”. Good LORD. H2O2 – literally one molecule apart from WATER – in proper dilutions has been known and used for ages to treat and heal dirty wounds.
But now we can’t use it, I am amazed by how many otherwise rational people are now convinced of this. People old enough to have watched their mothers use it with good effects on them.
Because somebody put out data on FOOD GRADE 35% or higher H2O2 and conflated it with the 3% used in medical treatments on skin. Food grade does bleach and can scald intact skin, which is one of its actual merits in some applications, much like lye and other substances.
Thus, granting tptb the excuse to remove food grade from the public. Despite all its known benefits, much of them in food preservation. And now common folk are terrified of even the 3%.

It also has gotten rid of my dog’s Giardia on numerous occasions. Giardia is a common parasite that infects animals and humans and seems to be everywhere around here in the water. My dog keeps getting re-infected and I keep getting rid of it with MMS. It also cured him of Lyme disease which he had both kinds. Before I knew much about Lyme one day out of the blue he was practically crippled in pain and stiffness. I was shocked and had no idea what was happening I thought maybe he broke a few bones somehow I had to carry him outside to go potty. One time I tried this stuff called Pacha or something like that it was called made by Merck. This stuff is dangerous it did not have a good affect on him it lowered his immunity and made him clearly uncomfortable. MMS is the way. I use it to clean my mouth to floss and brush with it and inhale the gas to clean out the lungs. I haven’t been to the dentist in over 10 years it removes plaque like magic – one of the keys to good health is having a clean mouth and toothpaste has sugar in it (sorbitol) which creates pathogens.

Yes, my older dog got it too when she was a pup. She went through 2 prescription courses and was still sick. I bought a natural tincture and after a bottle and a half, she never had another problem.
Vet’s assistant tried to tell me later, “Don’t use HERBALS (basically spat) they don’t work!” I told her about the very dog she was treating and the herbal tincture and told her, thank you, but I will make up my own mind.

I could tell you about my own experience with paraguard, but I’m just not up to it right now. It works. After maybe two doses I couldn’t stand to walk to the bathroom and my husband had to carry me. He took me to the hospital. 3 days later, I felt better than I had in decades and a bunch of nastiness exited my body.

I also use Dr. Hulda Clark’s liver and kidney cleanses and I know for a fact they work. Have given to others in my family and they work.

I’m not sure what paraguard is the one I mentioned has a similar name but different can’t remeber it now.
I have also done Hulda Clark’s flushes and they are also essential practices for much improved health. It is absolutely astounding how many ‘stones’ and other garbage gets flushed out doing it. I’ve done it at least 15 times it is safe and very effective. The organs of the human body are called ‘organs’ for a reason – when they are compacted with stones the resonate tone of the organ is muffled and cannot function properly.

Paraguard is a brand name, by Zahlers. I’ve used their products, wolfcreeknaturals and Hawaiipharmacy and they are all excellent. I am trying to study as much as I can to replicate their stuff for once they’re bought out or closed. I also love Maple Leaf Holistics.
I’m not suggesting these are the only reliable sources, but they are definitely reliable. Still amazed all the time how much I find on our property.
I have also discovered lugols, pine gum resin, and other things that are remarkable in their benefits. Even such simple things as borax can control athlete’s foot. So many things most people just won’t believe. Baking soda with a sugar (best is real molasses which you can’t buy in the States, but whatever you have) – see what that can do.
I prayed before spring this year that God would give us all we need on our land to feed and sustain us and others and despite the severe drought, there are things growing I’ve not seen here before. I know His hand is here. I just hope I can learn enough in time and learn the old preservation methods. I know several, but not enough.

If the stronger recommended dosage causes you too much die-off discomfort, lower it a bit, but don’t stop taking it. Work up to the highest dosage and take for the recommended time. If you want to hear from some of the people who’ve used it to get an idea of what you could expect, Amazon reviews reveal a lot. As severe as my die-off was initially, it is only my bullheadedness that made me persist but it was a huge benefit for me.

As you’re UK, you may not have it as bad as I did at my age on a US diet, plus a history of pharmaceuticals, all which weaken the system.

Kwon is correct that all these things work together and no single treatment solves everything, but paraguard was really the start for me to feel human again, that and the liver and kidney cleanses. I’ve been doing liver cleanses for about 6 years now and it will remain a lifelong maintenance for me. This world is so toxic.
I can tell I need to do one again because the brain fog gets bad. I can’t think clearly again and my memory goes nonexistent.

When my husband had a severe covid rash (his entire trunk, neck to groin had NO clear skin, it was all fiery red and raised) lugols cleared it in less than 2 days and has had the side benefit of completely curing his athlete’s foot. The kidney flush drew off his severe edema within 3. The doctors knew I was doing something they weren’t privy to, but only one was really angry with me for it.

If you aren’t aware already, you may also look into lactofermentation, it’s not only a preservation method, but it makes foods far more digestible and is probiotic. There is a wonderful facebook group that knows a wealth about it, based in the UK and they share delicious recipes. Your climate can be a major benefit in the slower fermentation and longterm quality of the products, even with basic shelf-storage.
Best to you and yours and I pray you get the relief you need. None of us deserve this.

This study did not go into the CHITIN these insects excrete. A more through study is available on PUBMED. I don’t have it here but a list is on Twitter. It causes starvation in all humans who try to subsist on insects.
