Fancy term for freemasonry
Awesome article. In post Templar Knights’ Europe, societies such as the Freemasons and the Rosicrucians needed to remain secretive because they didn’t want to befall what happened to the the Knights Templar. Which was being burned at the stake for practicing the mystery religions. This is what happens when there is no separation between church and state and this is also why the founding fathers of the U.S. Constitution wanted to separate them. Not only because most of them were Freemasons but also because they were staunch Libertarians and believed in true freedom.
Unlike the Masonic Bavarian Illuminati, the Rosicrucians were not plotting a sinister global government take over. So I don’t think that they are evil conspirators but rather protectors of the mystery religions. Somehow they were confused and mixed Christianity into the mystery religions. The Bible is very specific about being the only true religion and therefore rejects the mystery religions. As a Christian myself, and from my research, I believe they are harmless but confused.
Interestingly, Martin Luther who translated the Bible first into German and then into English for commoners was actually a Rosicrucian. Most people don’t know that.
