The statue of Prometheus Bringing Fire to Earth in Los Angeles’ downtown Westlake Park (now MacArthur Park).
Icelandic sculptor Nina Saemundsson crafted the statue in 1935 under Los Angeles’ City Parks board’s Public Works of Art Project. Saemundssen also sculpted a statue of Leif Erikson for Los Angeles’ Griffith Park.

You thought New York had the only prometheus statue? Well s**t on me, I had no idea one stood in LA at the heart of perdition known as McArthur Park.
Prometheus is an ancient Greek god said to have stolen fire from Mt. olympus and gave it to humans, as a result, he was cast down for that. So the elites see this as an unfair punishment for doing something good for humanity.
People have drawn many parellels to this story and the fall of lucifer from Heaven over what happened in the garden of Eden.
The statue displays a humanoid figure holding a torch and aiming it at Earth standing atop a pillar bearing a lightning bolt and a rising sun.
For those who dont know, a lightning bolt in occult circles symbolizes how lucifer, rebranded satan (grand deceiver, father of lies) by God, was cast down to Earth like a lightning bolt (Luke 10:18). The morning sun or rising sun alludes to him being named the “Morning star” or “bringer of light”, much like the sun (Isaiah 14:12).
So yes, this statue is highly occult and this was satanic conquest in homage to the satanic figure to reign over Los Angeles.
McArthur park is full of homelessness and crime. A hotbed of drug use and perdition in modern times.
So I ask this question, did “lucifer” bring in enlightenment or did he bring misery? I think the latter, so the name “satan” is more fitting, because he is the father of lies.
The statue still stands in McArthur park to this day.
