At this point why pay for new ebooks? Anyone can generate AI trash content for themselves.
Agreed. The “democratization” of literature, in all its grotesque absurdity, is approaching its apex.
Perfect measure over the long haul to ensure nothing is ever published again which doesn’t pass through their social filters.
But is pop music going to get better or much worse ? 🙂

Is it actually music these days, or pretty much re-hashed trash from the last decade? As a singer and songwriter, I am appalled by the horrific lack of creativity that passes for “music,” and to call any of it “award-winning” is a mockery of those of us doing the real thing but without the fame and bazillions of dollars.
This is admittedly getting out there a bit and maybe C2CAM land (the good Coast-to-Coast without George Noory), but has me wondering about the writing.
There are plenty of ‘channeled’ books or automatic writing, which are just written under a demonic influence.
Could the AI be influenced in the same way?
For example, there was the artwork generated that all had the same creepy woman in it a few months back.
And there is the Princeton GCP project working with random number generators around the world and disturbances are clearly notable hours before major world events (9/11, Indonesian tsunami – but that could just be a confirmation bias. I haven’t ever heard of any more recent “finds”.
