Not like this. Who, in your memory, rocks these knocked knees? No, they were all leather or spandex clad and women and men could look and imagine they saw whatever they wanted to see. They were deliberately bisexual and it sold like mad. Does this silly pic get your motor running? If it does, may I call a (911) cab for you?

The long, long game of the Dragons have been emasculating men for centuries. They just are more blatant about it now and the whole gender confusion/sexuality confusion is presented as the reason why these men are dressing like this.
WE all know it’s a humiliation ritual designed to control them and tell us something. AND to keep pushing to eliminate any Alpha-ness from the male population. Strong, masculine men will fight back to protect women and children, it’s a natural instinct. So now everyone is gender confused or neutral, masculinity is ‘toxic’, women is the future, and on and on ad nauseum.
They wouldn’t let the women and children watch theater either. It was because they saw actors as insane and hedonistic even back then. My theory is in Greece they knew to link acting with the Dionysus cult who were mainly made up of women. Dionysus was believed in some myths to have kidnapped women and their children and force them to follow him and if they refused he would kill their children. They didn’t want their women and children getting close to Dionysus while still enjoying the craft or avoiding the gods triggers since he was a certified serial killer who found his loophole by bringing victims back to life afterwards which caused them to go insane.
They trade their souls for fame so a cheerleader outfit, no matter how humiliating, is just some of the things asked of them to keep their fame. Same with harry styles. Sad
Sort of surprising that this band is still around. They were popular when I was in middle school and high school, 10-15 years ago. At that time, many of the tween and teen girls were “in love” with Gerard Way. I always thought the music was trash and he was not visually appealing at all.
Anyway, I heard from a friend a few years ago (who was a fan of the band at one time), that Way was a known groomer/likely pedophile. She told me about going to see MCR in concert, how all the hordes of teen girls were screaming and cheering for the band, and the adult men onstage were loving it. How they were inviting girls backstage and onto the tour bus.
It’s sick… I feel like part of my aversion to it during its heyday (besides the music just being s###), was because I sensed the undercurrent of that creepy culture. I never understood what regular grown man would be happy, as a supposed artist, to have his entire fanbase comprised of teenagers. What does that say about the quality of the art?
That mindless idolization was a huge component of the emo subculture. I honestly think many of these bands worked as a convenient way for their members to have easy access to legions of “damaged” teen girls, due to the lyrical content being explicitly designed to appeal to them.
